The SIMCO Drilling Equipment sales team recently attended the South Atlantic Well Drillers Jubilee in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and declared it a huge success!
After a year of social distancing and virtual conferences, the team was thrilled at being able to talk shop with other industry leaders and to display their 2800 PTO water well drilling rig. The first day of the Jubilee flew by, with every team member busy showing visitors the features and unique options available. On the second day, a drilling company from Virginia took the time to look deeper at what was to become their first SIMCO rig since a 1979 SIMCO 5000 they owned several years ago – with the encouragement from existing customers who happened to be visiting the booth.
“There’s no better sales pitch than an endorsement from an existing customer,” said Darren Swolley, General Manager and Sales Manager for SIMCO.
SIMCO’s well-deserved reputation for quality and service was further solidified when Swolley was able to provide additional references for the prospective buyer. After contacting similar operations in his area who own and love their SIMCO equipment, the decision to purchase was an easy one for the Virginia driller.
