The 2800 model drill rig was added to the SIMCO product line back in 1976. With two versions available at that time, one for auger drilling and another for wet rotary drilling, they both came with some common features – an 11’ stroke mast for 10’ tools, variable speed drill operation, hydrostatic top drive, hydraulic winches, and more.
With hundreds of these hard-working drill rigs in the field, their impact on the market isn’t always obvious. That’s why we’re looking to our customers to get a better picture.
