SIMCO is excited to introduce Dave Wagner, the newest member of the sales team, ready to help you design the perfect drilling rig to meet your needs!
Dave comes to SIMCO with a wealth of experience in sales, training, and engineering. During his eight years in the US Navy, Dave served on the USS Kitty Hawk, building his education in subjects ranging from leadership to firefighting. But engineering was where he felt most at home as an integral member of the team that worked on the catapult aircraft launching system.
At the end of his military career, Dave wanted to continue learning and honed his sales skills in a variety of roles in the software industry. His focus for the next couple of decades lay in human capital management software sales and training, where he had the opportunity to take classes from Harvard’s Business School. After taking a break to spend time with his wife and two grown children, he is ready to tackle something new.
“I am always looking to learn and to take on fresh challenges,” said Wagner. “SIMCO Drilling Equipment is the perfect change of pace at the perfect time for me. I’m thrilled to learn from this team and use my experience in sales and engineering to serve clients and help customize the perfect drilling rig for each customer.”
Dave will head up North American sales and is looking forward to traveling with the sales team to learn the ropes of a rig-up in Texas and experience the excitement of upcoming trade shows.
